Our mission.

We care deeply about community, providing exceptional and accessible mental health care, and the healing power of Gestalt therapy.

We have trained and learned together through the Gestalt Institute of the Rockies, where we discovered not only how to be better therapists, but how to be more fully human—supported and healed through relationship and community.

What we learned there about presence, responsibility, healing, and the power of relationship continues to guide our work. We believe meaningful change happens in connection, and that therapy is strongest when it is held within a caring professional community.

What is Gestalt?

Gestalt therapy is a relational, experiential approach to psychotherapy that focuses on what is happening in you right now, in session—in your thoughts, emotions, body, and in how you are relating. Rather than analyzing you from a distance or defining you by a diagnosis, Gestalt therapy meets you as a whole person, in context, with curiosity, respect, and care.

The word gestalt comes from German and means “whole” or “complete.” At its heart, Gestalt therapy understands human beings as integrated systems of mind, body, emotion, history, and environment. Healing happens not by fixing isolated problems, but by bringing awareness to how these parts interact and how you experience yourself in relationship to the world around you.

Gestalt therapy is grounded in relationship. The connection between you and your therapist is not secondary—it is central. Through genuine contact, awareness grows, unfinished experiences can be gently explored, and new choices become possible. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a place where trust, experimentation, and change can unfold.

Sessions often involve more than talk. You may be invited to notice physical sensations, emotions, or patterns as they arise, or to explore experiences creatively and experientially in ways that deepen understanding. These invitations are always collaborative, respectful, and guided by your pace and consent.

Gestalt therapy is non-pathologizing and deeply compassionate. It trusts in your inherent capacity for growth, creativity, and self-regulation, and offers a safe space where you can feel seen and supported as you move toward greater wholeness and integration in your life.
